Skating with Left Leg Laser Line02
Free_Trial
boy skating with Instructor helping out02

A Trainer works with your child individually and the trainer evaluates the player stride and then provides a series of corrective instructions to assist the player in developing proper skating stride muscle memory.

How does it work?

  • The player wears a mountain climbing harness and is strapped to an overhead System.
  • The player skates on the skating treadmill for approximately 15 minutes during a 30 minute session which approximates the average skating time during a hockey game.
  • Laser lines are used as reference points for the player to obtain the correct stride positioning.
  • The Trainer analyses the stride and recommends corrective positioning during the skating session.
  • As the skater improves the skating technique, the speed and elevation are increased up to 16 mph and 32 degrees elevation. At this point it becomes a conditioning exercise with up to 30-40 second wind sprints.
